For the 2010-2011 academic year, I'm lucky enough to have been chosen as a fellow at the Reynolds Journalism Institute. I'll be stepping back from my newsroom work for nine months and thinking big-ish thoughts about how to fundamentally change the relationship between professional journalists and the people who are no longer satisfied with being passive consumers of information.
